My granny write a book
This is a project to encourage youngsters to find out things about their grand parents. whose stories are fascinating and can play a crucial part in understanding the roots, culture and life overall of who they were, the countries they came from, their travels, aspirations and other things which they may never have spoken of to you, because they sometimes are not sure if they should, fearing that it may not be the right time to speak of it, or whether it would be of interest to their grad children. In doing this you will learn a lot and find that with time you become closer to them and can then relate to many aspects of their lives.
What is it about your grand mother or grandfather you like or dislike and will like to write a story about to get it off your chest? Grannies are quite amazing and amusing, but they are deeply knowledgeable and may have so much to say which you are missing out on and would only get to know if you find the right medium to get it out of them. They love protecting their old things and store them in odd places.
